Burbage Band (Buxton)

I attended the concert at the Methodist Church on May 21st 2011. Having not heard the band before, I was thoroughly impressed and entertained, particular highlights of the night for me were the Madama Butterfly solo and your opening march. What was overall a wonderful evening was only slightly marred by overhearing one of your younger players in the interval saying how awful the band had played in the first half and how unhappy you should all be with your performance, I do not know which band she was listening to, but it was not the same one as the rest of us! Overall a fantastic evening and I hope to hear the band again soon.

Well done Steve and all the band, fantastic result and well earned. All the very best of luck for the Nationals.

Thank you once again for the excellent concert  you gave for the Hartingon Gardens residents, they look forward to it very much each year. Mrs Mylechreest who celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this month was really pleased she got a mention. Once again thank you all and have a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Attended your fantastic "Last night of the Proms" concert at Ipstones on Sat 20-11.  What a great night was enjoyed by all, the best thing to happen in Ipstones since you last performed there. Your version of Nimrod was one of the best we have heard.                                               Thanks and come again.
