The '100' club is a long running fund set up by the band. For a payment of only £1.50 per month (£18/year), members of the club buy a number which is put into a monthly draw. 50% of all monies taken go directly to band funds, primarily to fund our junior and learner teaching.
Over the last ten years funds released by the 100 club have purchased many of the new instruments now provided free of charge to our juniors to learn on. The other 50% of your £1.50 goes into a prize draw pot.
Four numbers are drawn each month at our committee meetings, and each selected number wins a share of the prize money. Currently the club has over 120 members, so currently we are able to award £90 in prize money each month. In addition, 100 Club members receive a special concession price to some concerts.
So for just £1.50 a month you can significantly help the bands future, you stand a chance of winning a cash prize, and you get to come as a guest to our Christmas concert. Why wait any longer? Use the contact form at the bottom of the page or the contact page to send us a message and find out more.

If you register with this website and choose “Burbage Band Buxton” as your preferred charity, whenever you access retail websites (e.g. eBay, Argos, Screwfix etc.) through this website they give Burbage Band a donation. Over time this all adds up in providing an invaluable revenue stream.
The band is very grateful for the support it has received over the years from many local trusts/organisations. Their assistance goes a long way to help maintain the band at its current high standard as dual winners of the Midlands Regional fourth section brass band competition in 2011 and 2012 and current position in the first section. Their support also enables us to provide loan instruments to new people for us to teach to play music. In recent years donations have been received from:
